Richard Beach is currently the Corporate Supply Chain
Manager for Intermountain Health Care. He has been
involved with the health care supply channel for over
25 years and has managed in both the individual and
multi-hospital settings. In his current role, Richard
is responsible for all aspects of supply chain operations/logistics,
performance management, and supply chain automation.
During his time at IHC he has been instrumental in
the development of many progressives programs including:
supply expense management, supply chain education,
provider activity based costing, supply chain automation,
and supply channel best practice development.
Richard has a Master's Degree in Public Administration
and a Bachelor's in Public Health, both from Brigham
Young University.
Intermountain Health Care (IHC) is charitable, community-owned,
nonprofit healthcare organization based in Salt Lake
City that serves the needs of Utah and Idaho residents.
The IHC system includes health insurance plans, 21
hospitals, 100 clinics, and 550 employed physicians.
