Thomas Golaszewski serves Meridian Health as the
Vice President for Resource and Materials Management.
Meridian Health consists of three hospitals (Jersey
Shore University Medical Center, Riverview Medical
Center, and Ocean Medical Center), nursing homes,
physician practices, long term care facilities, etc.
Among his current responsibilities are contracting,
procurement, logistics, printing, and both internal
and external transportation. He has been involved
in all aspects of healthcare supply chain, support
services, and administrative functions for nearly
thirty years. He has been a proponent and at the forefront
of many of the innovative changes in the healthcare
supply chain including operational consolidation,
just-in-time and stockless models, change management,
value analysis, and quality improvement.
Prior to joining Meridian Health, Thomas was the
Corporate Director of Materials Management at the
University of Pennsylvania Health System, where he
led the supply chain program for four hospitals as
well as faculty and community based physician practices.
He did his undergraduate work at the University of
Michigan, and holds his masters degree from
the University of Pennsylvania.
