MR. TIM MARLETTE
CPO
Community Health System


Mr. Marlette has over 26 years of diversified healthcare experience. Currently, he is the Chief Purchasing Officer of Community Health Systems, (CHS) a Brentwood, TN based hospital company. CHS is the leading operator of general acute care hospitals in non-urban markets throughout the United States. CHS owns 72 hospitals located in 22 states across the country. Mr. Marlette came to CHS in 1998. He is over all day to day operations in the material management division and for CHS. Including in his responsibilities, he oversees their GPO affiliation with Health Trust Purchasing Group.

Mr. Marlette started his career with Humana/HCA in 1979. While working for Humana/HCA, he was promoted to various departments including, Accounts Payable, Sterile Processing, Material Management, Support Services and Equipment planning. His career includes work with nationally recognized healthcare systems, teaching institutions, not-for-profit hospitals, and his own consulting firm.

He received a B.A. in Business Administration from McKendree College with a concentration in Concentration in Accounting/Economics.
