Bill Mosser joined Temple University Health System,
in Philadelphia PA in April 2003 as Managing Director
Supply Chain Services. In this role Bill serves as
the senior executive responsible for the health system's
supply chain strategies and operations. He is the
primary architect of the strategies for strategic
sourcing, product formulary management, technology
assessment and demand pull inventory, all programs
being implemented at TUHS. In addition, Bill oversees
the management teams responsible for procurement services,
contracting and supplier management, product management,
technology management and planning, inventory management
and supply distribution services at all health system
campuses. TUHS annual non-wage expenses and capital
procurement budgets exceed $300 million annually.
Prior to joining Temple, Bill was President and Lead
Consultant for KTM Consulting, LLC a Supply Chain
and Information Systems Project Management consulting
firm in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. His clients included
a multi-billion dollar international manufacturing
corporation, a major southeastern Healthcare Network,
a northeastern healthcare Clinical Laboratory and
a 'dotcom' company developing a web portal designed
to provide multi-hospital healthcare clients with
a comprehensive procurement solutions for medical/surgical
supplies & equipment and pharmaceuticals.
Before founding KTM Consulting, LLC, Bill spent more
than twenty six years in various supply chain management
and information systems leadership roles in the healthcare
and manufacturing industries. Most recently he served
as Administrator and Chief Procurement Officer for
an eastern Pennsylvania Integrated Delivery Network.
Before entering the healthcare industry, Bill worked
in the automotive manufacturing industry as a supply
chain manager and information systems manager. There
he was responsible for the development and implementation
of inventory optimization and logistics process improvements
and supply chain management information systems design,
development & implementations specifically focused
on managing the network wide implementation of ERP
systems and support for financial application systems.
