Jim currently serves as the Vice President of Support Services for Virtua Health. In his current role, Jim is responsible for overseeing Virtua's supply chain functions, capital acquisition and construction management. Virtua is a self contracting and distribution shared services model that spans the entire organization.

Jim started his career with Virtua twenty six years ago as a pharmacist and has served in various managerial and administrative roles. Jim moved into Support Services seven years ago as a clinician within the supply chain working on product standardization. He assumed the Vice President position in 2004.

Jim earned a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire and a Bachelor' Degree in Pharmacy from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. Jim is married with two teenage daughters.

Virtua Health is the largest health care provider in Southern New Jersey. Virtua is a non-profit, tax exempt; community based Integrated Delivery Network servicing a tri-county market. The health system totals approximately 1,200 beds with a combination of four acute care hospitals, primary care and surgical ambulatory facilities, long-term care and rehabilitation facilities, as well as, community health fitness and home health.
