Having over fifteen years experience in the area of Materiel Management, Ms. Slate provides leadership in Client Service functions for the QHR Materiel Resource Group, including non-acute materiel resource programs, supply chain consulting services, strategic service partner relationships and regional director staff servicing over 180 client facilities. She chairs both the Materiel Resource Leadership Council and the Pharmacy Leadership Council; QHR user groups designed for customer input on contracting and service program development.

Prior to joining QHR, Ms. Slate served as the Director of Materials Management at a hospital in the Southeast. Her accomplishments there include development and implementation of an automated inventory management system for all inventory locations within the facility, coordination of the supply charge master and supply revenue enhancement.

Ms. Slate is a Fellow in the American Society for Healthcare Resource and Materials Management (AHRMM) and Past President of the Virginia Society for Healthcare Resource and Materiel Management. She also has a M.B.A., in Health Care Administration.
