Mr. Walker is responsible for all system supply chain and support services operations including Maintenance, Facilities, Bio-Medical Engineering, Dietary Services, Safety and Security, Transportation, Supply, Distribution, Purchasing, Capital Equipment Management, Courier Services, Parking, Laundry, Mail Room, Printing Services and Emergency Preparedness.
Grant joined Ochsner Health System in September of 2000 as the Vice President of Support Services. He came to the health system with twenty-five years experience in both the military and health care settings. Prior to his employment with Ochsner, he was Vice President Facilities/Support Service/Operations at Susquehanna Health System in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Grant served ten years in the U.S. Army Medical Services Corp. His last assignment was Chief of Supply and Services of the 400 bed 8th Evacuation hospital in Monterey, California. He received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Biology from The Pennsylvania State University and his Masters Degree in Management from Webster University.
