Responsible for leading the planning, execution, delivery and maintenance of all supply acquisitions to support Grady Health System strategic vision. Accountable for procurement, management of the Request for Proposal process, contracts, strategic sourcing, strategic distributor partnerships, maximizing Group Purchasing Organization offering. Key collaborator of Value Analysis and Supplier Diversity outreach efforts.

  • Name a few of the primary objectives/initiatives you are working on?

2015 Identified Goals;  Process Improvement: Implementation of a Contract Management System to include; workflows, sourcing activity, contract version control, integrated approval workflows.  Targeted Savings: Purchase Services cost reduction. Renegotiation of strategic agreements.

  • What do you view as your best opportunity in the next 12-18 months?

Decreasing non-file transactions. Collaborate with appropriate stakeholders in obtaining compliance. Establish and Publish KPI’s for continuous improvement.

  • How do you describe your leadership style?

A consummate professional and the voice of reason. Effectively communicates expectations and mentors when required.
